The president of Great Lakes Boiler Company, Nevan O’Donnell comes from a lineage of boilermakers, following in the footsteps of his dad, uncle, brother, and father-in-law. Having started in the industry at Simakas Boiler Repair at the age of sixteen, Nevan’s experience also includes working as a weld helper for Walter’s Boiler Works from 2015 to 2016 before obtaining his CWI to work as a weld inspector for pipeline and power generation boilers. Since purchasing the company from his father-in-law in 2022, Nevan has worked to continually expand the offerings at Great Lakes Boiler Company and better serve the Cleveland, Columbus, and greater Ohio areas. In his free time, Nevan enjoys fishing, side-by-side riding, and wood working.
Married to company president Nevan O’Donnell, Leah O’Donnell serves as the vice president of Great Lakes Boiler Company. With both her father and grandfather having owned boiler businesses, Leah has had a lifelong involvement in the boiler industry and is proud to carry that family lineage into its fifth generation. As vice president, Leah manages the administrative and marketing side of Great Lakes Boiler Company. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, she also holds a RN BSN and works as a nurse in the Mt. Carmel Health System. In her free time, Leah enjoys paddle boarding, boating, cats, and spoiling her nieces.
